The 26-year-old all-rounder arrived at the crease with KKR in a precarious position, reeling at 51/4. However, Ramandeep Singh displayed remarkable composure and launched into a blistering attack, smashing four sixes and a boundary. His aggressive 54-run partnership with fellow KKR debutant Salt propelled KKR past the 100-run mark and laid the foundation for a competitive total of 208.

It was a hell of a cameo, and they put up a good partnership. When wickets are falling, stitching partnerships is crucial, and doing so on debut is very impressive.”
