India is close to finding Rahul Dravid’s replacement as the team’s head coach and it could be just a matter of days before we find out who his successor is. Not only that, the BCCI has plans for chief selector Ajit Agarkar and the selection committee as a part of their overhaul. Besides Indian cricket, Pakistan cricket is once again at the fore, thanks to a street fight by a pacer with a fan in the USA. Let’s us take a look at some of the top stories from Tuesday.

With Gambhir expected to have another round of interview on Wednesday, it is safe to say that India will have its new head coach soon.

Haris Rauf’s street fight

After a humiliating exit from the T20 World Cup, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf was involved in a heated exchange with a man in the USA. Rauf confronted the man, asking him if he was an Indian only to get to know that he was fighting with a Pakistan fan. Rauf later took to social media to do damage control but the video of the incident had already gone viral.

Corruption thwarted

The ongoing T20 World Cup has seen a welcome display of vigilance from the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU). Their swift action prevented a potential match-fixing attempt after a Ugandan player reported a corrupt approach.
