Good news for India Cricket Team fans. And finally Shivam Dube has come good for the Men in Blue. After a string of poor performances, the southpaw has finally returned to form ahead of the mega clash against Australia. Dube held India’s fort after back to back wickets and paired with Hardik Pandya to help India post a massive total of 196 runs in the IND vs BAN clash in the ICC T20 World Cup.
Fans had started to run out of patience with Shivam Dube. The CSK star played well in IPL 2024 but failed to continue his form in Team India colours. After poor performances in group stages and the past game, he scored a gritty 34-run knock against Bangladesh.
Shivam Dube returns to form!
It was of paramount importance that Shivam Dube finds is form back. And rightly so, ahead of the India vs Australia clash, the southpaw has found his touch again. Dube looked lively in the center. He took quite sometime to settle down after thew quick wickets of Virat Kohli, Suryakuamr Yadav and Rishabh Pant.
While Hardik Pandya took the attacking front, Dube played the role of an anchor. But the southpaw soon went out hammering the Bangladeshi bowlers. He slammed 3 huge sixes to score a gritty 34 run knock from 24 balls. While it is not big runs, but the self confidence that he has found in the middle will be a big boost for the player.
